About Cons-Graf

Cons-graf is a professional website dedicated to contemporary and urban art conservation and research. Since its first release in 2011, it has served as a platform and discussion point for many interested in conservation, public art and alternative artistic expressions.


Now, cons-graf will aim to provide not only news about events and topics related to the preservation of graffiti and street artworks, but also, information on conservation procedures and approaches to any contemporary art form, advice and consultancy to artists, and a wide range of services and professional expertise to public and private collectors, galleries, institutions, and interested individuals.


About the Author

Dr. Rita L. Amor García

Art Conservator and Independent Researcher

Spanish art conservator and independent researcher based in London since 2012. 
 Rita was granted with an PhD in Science and Restoration of Historic-Artistic Heritage from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV, 2017), with her thesis research on the conservation of contemporary murals, independent public expressions and the strappo detachment of aerosol art (link). She also holds an BA and MA in Fine Arts (UPV, 2010), and an MA in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage (UPV, 2011).



Rita is a specialist in the conservation of contemporary artworks, with a specific interest in the study, preservation and care of graffiti and street art.



Since 2011, she has worked in public institutions in Spain and the UK, including the Instituto Universitario de Restauración del Patrimonio (Valencia), the Royal Academy of Arts, and the Royal Museums Greenwich. Since 2017, she works in the private practice in London, developing conservation and exhibition projects both nationally and internationally for private collectors, galleries, public institutions and museums.
